TRAFFIC

We will work to get your ticket reduced to the best result possible to minimize points on your license and insurance.

Whether you’re charged with a simple traffic ticket or a very serious one, we represent all kinds of traffic cases.

Unfortunately, it is a common mistake today to not take traffic tickets seriously. There are a lot of people that either represent themselves in court or pay their ticket off online without hiring a lawyer.  By paying your ticket off online,  you are pleading guilty to the original charge.  If fast enough, some speeds are actually class 3 misdemeanors that create a criminal record.

Don’t take the day off of work to sit in traffic court! Let us go for you.

We handle all kinds of traffic offenses in North Carolina, including:

North Carolina Department of Insurance Safe Driver Incentive Program.

The North Carolina Department of Insurance Safe Driver Incentive Plan (NCSDIP) provides that a motorist is entitled to have his/her insurance point(s) waived for a citation that is reduced to 10mph or less over the speed limit, if the following occur:  the motorist (and anyone in his/her household) has not had a forgiven accident in the last three (3) years; the motorist doesn’t have any moving violations or at fault accidents resulting in personal injury within the last 3 years; and if the motorist had an accident in the last 3 years, the amount is less than $2,300 (if occurred 10/01/17 or later) or less than $1,850 if occurring prior to 10/01/17.  An isolated PJC does not count as a moving violation.  This is commonly referred to as a “9 over insurance waiver.”
